This will be the first foray into the region for the Viking Metallers, who incorporate their love for their Norse heritage not only into their music, but also into their live performances, with the use of VJ effects to create a spectacular backdrop, illustrating each individual song with historic and symbolic images. Drummer HRYMR confirmed that HELHEIM would be taking their VJ, GJERT, with them to Russia. “The effects have now become an integral part of the HELHEIM and we are sure that the Russian fans will appreciate the atmosphere we are now able to create. It will be our first time in the country, and we are really looking forward to playing there, and hopefully of being able to get a glimpse of Russia, albeit a very rapid one”.
