"The Weekenders are a buzzworthy group which hails from Salt Lake City, Utah. Bringing equally impressive elements of Psychedelica and Fuzz Rock, the group sets out this Summer with their latest record, Bright Silence of Night. Garnering critical acclaim and opening for big name acts such as Blitzen Trapper and Freeman (members of Ween), The Weekenders have put themselves on the map as a band to watch out for.
The group's sophomore effort, we see a more mature side of the group where everything and anything is fair game. The 10-track record is an insightful glimpse into the band with astonishing tones and sonically alluring melodies which go above and beyond to rock your eardrums.
Tracks such as lead single "Escape," set the mood for the record as an unstoppable and driving force. This kicks off the record for the group, as it rushes in a nice introduction to the group. Уклончик в психодел оказался весьма продуктивным - песни стали длиннее, развернутее, разнообразнее, а самое главное - красивее!!!:kruto:
